COVID-19 Community Support: Feed the Frontline

***UPDATE 5/7/2020: WE HAVE DONATED OVER $1500 WORTH OF MEALS!!***

COVID-19 has impacted ALL of us. Even those who are physically untouched by the virus have felt the repercussions of the pandemic. Our first responders and front-line response teams are sacrificing their health for our safety. The hospitality industry has come to a (almost) screeching halt, causing economic ripples that are more like tidal waves. In an effort to help local food businesses and support our first/early response teams, we would like to send meals to those working on the front line. As long as it is feasible, please help us help our community. 

The idea is simple: 

1) You help us identify a local firehouse, police station, hospital, clinic, or any other establishment that is working as a first/early responder and is interested in food donations (or gift cards) for their crew.

2) We coordinate with a local food business to prepare and deliver meals (or gift cards). Please let us know if you have a restaurant you want to recommend or prefer us to use.

3) We collect donations to help cover the costs (and send donors an update on how the money was spent). Suggested donation is $20/meal to cover the meal, tax, tip, and delivery charge (if applicable).  We want to help YOUR local community so let us know if you have a preference as to where your donation is used (if no preference, we will pool your donation with others for a high-need area).
